I am both the lead editor and founder of the Southern Italian and Sicilian dedicated page on H-Net! This network focuses on scholarship from Roman Sicily in late antiquity to the Kingdom of Sicily in the eighteenth century. In focusing on the late antique, Byzantine, medieval, and early modern periods, H-Sicily allows all premodern scholars working on topics related to Southern Italy (broadly geographically defined) to connect across disciplines, languages (scholarship in other languages than English is very welcome), and themes in premodern studies.
